Luanda - The National Air Carrier (TAAG) has been keeping its regular domestic, regional and international flights since it resumed commercial operations in September, after being suspended in March due to covid-19 pandemic, the company said in reaction to alleged information about its inoperability at some destinations.
In September, TAAG resumed commercial operations under Presidential Decree 229/20 of 8 this month, favouring passengers with delayed travel. From March to August, the company was limited to humanitarian and rescue flights for fellow citizens abroad.
Since then, all passengers are required to undergo the Serological test the day before for domestic travel on all routes operated by TAAG, and the Molecular type RT-PCR SARS-COV2 up to 72 hours before the date of travel, with "medical evidence" with negative results to be presented at check-in.
"The tests can be done in clinics accredited by the Ministry of Health", indicates the national flag company, in a press release, referring to the most recent Presidential Decree No. 276/20 of 23 October, which imposes new rules on social coexistence, to be in force until 22 November.
