Luanda - The Ferryboat, which will connect the provinces of Cabinda, Zaire (Soyo) and Luanda, arrived on Friday in the country to join the Secil Marítima fleet of catamarans, aimed to improve the living conditions of the local population and the economy in the region.
Made in the Netherlands, the 48-meter-long Ferryboat and with a maximum speed of 20.5 nautical miles per hour, has a capacity for 60 passengers, nine containers and ten vehicles.
Cabinda Ferryboat was unloaded on Sunday, November 2.
According to a note from the Ministry of Transport to sent to ANGOP, the operation was successful, in compliance with all safety and protection measures, with no damage to any member of the teams involved in the operation.
