Luanda - The Angolan company Sambiente, whose business segment is the prevention and control of pollution, is tasked to recycle waste and transform it into aluminum, copper and fertilizers.

The technical director of the unit located in Bom Jesus commune, Luanda, José Sachango, said on Friday that the company is already receiving and handling harmful waste brought by Cleaning and Sanitation Company of Luanda (ELISAL).

Speaking at the end of a visit paid to that unit by the Chairman of the Technical Unit for Private Investment (PICU), Norberto Gárcia, the Sambiente Company is structured to collect, transport and handle household, hospital and industrial waste.

The investment, which José Sachango said to be considerable, without disclosing figures, is being applied on an area of 120 hectares.

At the end of the working visit, the chairman of the PICU, Norberto Gárcia, reaffirmed the need for domestic investors to replicate the good experiences.
