BNA sets 500 Euros sale for family aid

Luanda - Commercial Banks have been recommended to sell at least the equivalent of 500 Euros to allow more citizens, among students and patients abroad, to have access to foreign currency.
The information was released Wednesday by the governor of National Reserve Bank of Angola (BNA), José de Lima Massano.
Massano was speaking on the sidelines of Cabinet Council Meetting, chaired by the head of State, João Lourenço .
There is a high demand for foreign exchange, he said.
He added that the current figures obtained through commercial banks indicate that there are more than 400 million Euros in banking financial institutions.
However, he said, the process of selling foreign exchange to individuals has been slower than it was intended at that time.
