Ondjiva - Namibian businesspeople of Oshana region, requested the Angolan authorities ease entry for firms from this neighboring country seeking to invest in southern Cunene province.

This was appealed on Wednesday in Ondjiva city by the chairperson of Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Oshana region, Remind Ekaundjo, during Cunene/Oshana business forum.

To the Namibian official, there is a need for more openness and less red tape for Namibian businesspeople to invest in Cunene and spread their business in the province.

In line with that, Remind Ekaundjo suggested that the red tape demanded for investment in both countries should be simpler and expedite, with view to encourage and foster investment in the two regions.
