Angola presents telecommunications business opportunities

Luanda - Angola participates since today with 14 telecommunications companies World Forum in the sector, which started in Budapest, Hungary, with the aim of presenting the investment opportunities that the country offers in this segment of the economy.


At the forum, Angola is presenting the advances made in its national space program, fiber optic cable network, sector training and submarine cables in Angola (SACS, WCS, MONET, SAT-3, WASC / SAFE).

The event focuses on three pillars, namely innovation, infrastructure and investment.

According to a press release from the Ministry of Telecommunications and Information Technologies made available to Angop, several African and Asian countries are requesting connection to Angolan submarine cables to improve their communications.

During the forum, the Angolan minister of Telecommunications and Information Technologies, José Carvalho da Rocha, will hold meetings with the head of Liquid econet (African Internet Association), smart African executive secretary, Huawei representatives and a group of Czech businessmen interested in the Angolan telecommunications and ICT sector to invest.
