Animal feed industry quadruples production

Luanda - The Nutivet Manager, Susana Carbo told Angop that “Nutrivet-nutrition and veterinary” feed industry will increase its production of four-legged 16 tons in the first quarter of 2020.

To increase production, the company is installing a new four-line industrial unit for all products that are produced in ways that professionalize the unit.

The factory located in the municipality of Cazenga has conditions that allow the proper and personalized manufacture of various types of compound foods, such as animal feed, protein concentrates and additive kernels, mineral vitamin premixes, pre-medicated products and veterinary products, different physiological states of zootechnical animal species.

The company also has a warehouse of medicines and veterinarians, properly equipped and in accordance with current legal standards, she said.

Speaking to Angop, at the 4th edition of Expoindustria, opened by the President of the Republic, João Lourenço, Susana Carbó said that despite the limitations, he acknowledges the Angolan Government's effort to improve the business environment and that she is optimistic.

The official also called for greater supervision in the entry of products directed to the nutrition and reproduction of animals for consumable purposes.

Expoindustria, with more than 300 exhibitors, is a partnership between the Ministry of Industry and Eventos Arena, and has national companies from the cereal, meat, cotton, tobacco, sugar, beer, cement, wood and furniture sectors.

It also welcomes companies in the oil refining, tire, fertilizer, pulp, glass, steel, soap, salt, sausage, dairy, juice, soft drink, mineral water, paints and varnish, paper, plastic card, steel rod and paper industry and civil construction.

Companies from Bengo, Benguela, Namibe, Huila, Cuando Cubango, among others will take part in the event.
