Angola wants to intensify cooperation with France in education

Luanda - The minister of Education, Ana Paula Tuavanje, manifested last Tuesday in Luanda the intention to see a strengthened Angola/France bilateral cooperation relations, particularly in the education sector.

The minister said so in a meeting she held with several Angolan government officials that will attend the 40th section of the UNESCO General Conference, which will take place in Paris, from 12th to 17th November, this year.

ANGOP has learnt that the programme of the said conference outlines a high level meeting involving the ministers of Education, Culture, and Higher Education, as well as a youth forum.

The minister also informed that while attending the UNESCO conference, the Angolan delegation intends to visit technical/vocational institutes to exchange experiences.

Last Tuesday’s meeting with her colleagues (ministers) and technicians  had the objective to draft a strategy for the upcoming UNESCO meeting and to analyze the communications that the country’s delegation will make in the Paris event.
