Angolan company builds 6,000 social houses in Ghana

Luanda - An Angolan company will build six thousand houses in the Republic of Ghana in six years, under an agreement valued at USD 200 million.


It is the São Jorge Group, a company specialized in metal construction, more specifically in the light steel construction system, which has been operating in this segment for more than 10 years.

According to a press release, the agreement was initialed by Ghanaian Minister of Construction and Housing, Samuel Atta Akyea, and by the Chairperson of the Sao Jorge group, Nasser Bahadoorali.

The event was attended by the Angolan ambassador to Ghana, Augsto da Silva Cunha, and officials of this diplomatic mission.

Ghana is a country in West Africa, bordered on the north by Burkina Faso, on the east by Togo, on the south by the Gulf of Guinea and on the west by the Ivory Coast. The capital and largest city of the country is Accra.
