Covid-19: Another Angolan dead in Portugal

Lisbon - An Angolan citizen, who was having medical treatment in Portugal, died last Thursday, in a hospital unit in Lisbon, victim of Covid-19.

According to the Portuguese health authorities, with this occurrence the number of deaths registered within the Angolan community in that European country increases to five.

The source added that there are currently (in Portugal) 71 cases of Angolans infected by Covid-19, since the outbreak of the pandemic, last December, in China.

Of those infected, thirty six remain active, including nineteen residents, eleven non-residents and six from the Medical Board. There are also records of thirty recovered people and five deaths.
