Device blast injures three children in Panguila

Caxito - Three children from the same family were wpunded Saturday after the explosion of an unexploded ordnance in sector 11 of Panguila, also known as "Tectos Amarelos", in the province of Bengo.


The three, 10 and 11 year old children were rushed up to Dande municipal hospital and later transferred to Luanda due to the severity of the injuries.

In a statement to ANGOP, Florentino Kileba, liaison officer for the National Intersectoral Commission for Demining and Humanitarian Assistance (CNIDAH) in Bengo, said it was the second accident with an undetonated explosive device that occurred in the municipality of Dande in less than a month.
