Luanda - Luanda Domestic Airport is ready for pre-boarding tests for Covid-19 passengers, as of Monday 14, as part of the resumption of commercial flights, at national level.


According to Sociedade Gestora de Aeroportos, S.A (SGA), in a note sent to ANGOP, conditions are being created at the domestic flight terminal for all passengers to be tested.

According to the company, passengers must be at the airport five hours in advance in order to comply with biosecurity measures and avoid constraints.

This directive, it puts forward, comes in relation to Presidential Decree 229/20 of 8 September, which authorises the gradual resumption of scheduled flights during the Public Calamity period, in force, due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The source indicates the resumption of commercial passenger flights at national level as from Monday 14, the first flight scheduled for this afternoon, to the province of Cabinda, at 3 p.m..

Domestic flights scheduled for the week (14-19)

Today, departure at 15h00, Luanda/Cabinda/Luanda 16h30 ( single flight of the day).

Wednesday: Luanda-Soyo, scheduled to depart at 12 noon and return, Soyo-Luanda, at 1.20pm.

Thursday: Luanda-Huambo, scheduled to depart at 12 noon and return, Huambo-Luanda, at 1.35pm.

Friday: Luanda-Catumbela, scheduled to leave at 12 noon and return, Catumbela-Luanda, at 1.30pm.

Sunday: Luanda-Lubango, scheduled to leave at 12 noon and return, Lubango-Luanda, at 1.50pm.

For further information, TAAG has its call centre terminal (923 19 00 00), service counters or travel agencies, according to a company press release.
