Luanda - Angola and Zambia are since Thursday assessing bilateral cooperation in transport field.

The Zambian delegation is integrated by the ministers of Housing and Infrastructure, Vicent Mwale, and minister of Transport and Telecommunication, Lole Mututwe.

The delegation, which also includes senior officials from the two ministerial departments, is scheduled to visit Lobito city, Benguela province, where the infrastructure that make up the Lobito Economic Development Corridor is located.

The agenda also includes a meeting with the Angolan ministers of Transport and of Construction and Public Works.

Angola and Zambia have signed a bilateral agreement in 2018 for the development of priority projects aimed at improving the connectivity of the road, railways, river and civil aviation networks of the two neighbouring countries.
