Minister calls for teamwork in environment, tourism and culture sectors

Luanda - Angolan minister of State for Social Affairs Carolina Cerqueira defended Thursday union, teamwork spirit and combined effort in the sectors of tourism, culture and environment.

Carolina Cerqueira was speaking at portfolio handover ceremony between the outgoing minister, Adjany Costa, and the incoming, Jomo Fortunato.

The official reiterated the need to share ideas and involvement of the staff of the sector, particularly in this period the country is experiencing several challenges.

Carolina Cerqueira said that the consequences of covid-19 pandemic is causing lot of difficulties among families and the population in general.

The official stressed the need for dialogue and sharing ideas in order for   the three key sectors in the governance framework can play more  relevant role in the sustainable development of the country.

She said that the sector’s action will contribute to generate jobs taking into account the valences of each sector and especially to ensure more harmony and social well-being. 

“We are asking each the sector’s member represented here to continue with the same collective responsibility, spirit of mission and much dedication”, said the minister.
